“Based on the sunny, southern slopes of the Matra Mountains and only 80 km NE of Budapest, Nagyrède Estate has forged a reputation for modern, fresh wines. They are produced using the latest in technology and a legacy of over 700 years of winemaking in the area. Over recent years Nagyrède has been acclaimed “the Best Winery in Hungary” at Wine Awards in Budapest. Nagyrède Estate was established in 1957 as a cooperative and is now privately owned. The majority of production is white and rosé, while about 20% is red, made in a light fruity style with no oak or ageing.
